Nathan Young

1st XI Captain

Nathan has again been elected as the Wherwell 1st XI Captain for the 2011 season. After last years successful promotion, he hopes they can once again fight for a top 3 finish.

Nathan is the first to admit he had a poor 2010 with the bat, but aims to make amends for that in 2011 and perform consistenly with bat and ball.

Richard Rowles

2nds XI Captain and Chairman

Wherwell Cricket Club's Chairman did not manage to perform on the field last season due to numerous injuries. Richard has been elected as 2nd XI Captain this season and will hope to pass on his experience to the youngsters in the team.

With his UKCC2 qualification under his belt, we can expect to see the next generation of Wherwell bowlers perfecting the art of Off-Spin under Richards guidance.
